Biographical Sketch: Kelly is the Chief Financial Officer at HCI Care Services, an independent non profit hospice and palliative care organization serving patients and families in southern and central Iowa and Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa, a partner organization providing community based medical and social services across Iowa. Kelly has been with HCI Care Services since 2007 and Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa since 2012.
Previously in her career, Kelly lead both audit and reimbursement teams at Cahaba GBA, the Regional Home Health and Hospice Medicare intermediary in Des Moines, Iowa.
She has extensive experience in health care financial management, reimbursement, cost reporting, compliance and strategic leadership.
Kelly has presented to numerous provider audiences throughout her career on issues related to Medicare reimbursement, cost reporting, data interpretation and financial management.
Kelly serves on the Board of Directors of the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of Iowa. She is a licensed CPA and attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa where she obtained her BA in Accounting and MBA degrees.
