Biographical Sketch: Amanda joined the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization in 2014. Her main duties center on the internal and external communication efforts of the NHPCO affiliates: National Hospice Foundation, Global Partners in Care, and the Hospice Action Network. She also works closely with the NHPCO Strategic Communications Team assisting with outreach efforts and various campaign initiatives.
Amanda spent six years at Hospice of the North Country as the Director of Development and Communications and was also part of the senior leadership team. In 2013, she relocated to the Greater Washington D.C. area to work for Capital Caring as the Communications Manager.
She earned her MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno and her B.S. in Business from the State University of New York College at Buffalo.
