Biographical Sketch: Vicki Merrill joined the staff at Hospice of the Bluegrass in 2007 as a team social worker that provided end of life care in homes and in long-term care facilities. She becqme the AVP of Clinical Counseling in late 2012.
Vicki has an extensive background of 36 years in the field of social work that focused in mental health, education, and program development/management. She has successfully written over $25 million in grant awards for schools, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. She has also co-authored a book chapter with Sherri Weisenfluh on sexuality and intimacy in hospice patients.
Vicki completed her MSSW from University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kentucky and has her ACHP-SW Credentials. She is an adjunct instructor for Northern Kentucky University's Social Work Department.
