Biographical Sketch: Cathy Stauffer Wozniak is an Associate for The Corridor Group, Senior Partner with The TEAM Approach and currently serving as Executive Director for the Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center. She has over 30 years of experience within the continuum of healthcare services. The last 22 years of her career in healthcare has been devoted solely to working for non-profit and for-profit Medicare certified and accredited hospices and home care organizations. During this time, she has served in management roles that included President and CEO, President, Senior Vice President and Executive Director for organizations on the East Coast and Midwest. She has worked extensively in organizational leadership, strategic planning, operations, financial management and regulatory compliance. Past consulting experience includes serving as an associate doing market research, needs assessments, strategic planning and project management for Seversten, Murray & Associates in Chicago, Illinois. Also, she worked as a special project consultant for The American Hospital Association and while there authored and published the book, "Health Promotion for Older Adults: A Planning and Management Guide."
Today, Cathy works as a consultant in areas of leadership development and management, is active with national and local organizations and committees, is a frequent speaker at national, state and local conferences and works for both nonprofit and for profit companies and organizations as a consultant, trainer and executive coach. Cathy has special interests in transitional management assignments, working with hospice leaders as a coach and in helping leaders create visionary strategic planning and a workplace culture of employee engagement and teamwork that supports quality, value and growth of organizations.
