The hospice industry is under incredible pressure due to a combination of changing regulations, being asked to do more with less and having to be exceedingly nimble during a time of monumental overarching healthcare reform. In stressful times like these, it is easy to lose focus, easy to forget why we do this work. This session will explore practical ways to lead our organizations through these incredibly challenging times, teach ways to either preserve or rekindle the passion that got most of us into this profession and share concrete examples of ways to make sure we are all around for those we have been entrusted to care both now and in the future.

Learning Objectives:
1. List 3 daily opportunities to inspire resilience while reinforcing your organization’s mission
2. Describe 3 key current environmental barriers to remaining mission-focused
3. Discuss specific strategies to overcome barriers and capitalize on challenges to reinforce your organization’s mission
