Every year CMS produces a report that outlines the top 25 hospice survey deficiencies. Providers need to look at this report not only from a compliance standpoint, but also as a way to assess and improve quality of care for their patients. This session will examine the 2016 top 10 hospice survey deficiencies from a quality assessment, performance improvement perspective and provide strategies for providers to improve the quality of patient care in these areas.
