2. Identify strengths and weaknesses of personal preferences in conflict responses
3. Demonstrate the differences between issues and interests in order to assist patients faced with end of life care decisions
4. Navigate the collaborative road map by which care providers can assist patients and families move through resistance to acceptance of care decisions
5. Develop process approaches which help individuals move past denial and anger to determine preferable treatment options in end of life circumstances
6. Integrate conflict management skills into beneficial approaches for families facing palliative care decisions
