3. Review the impact that a visual image can have on education in pediatric palliative care
This session will introduce a tertiary pediatric hospital's innovative approach to palliative care education through new nurse and care assistant orientation, new graduate orientation and ongoing interdisciplilnary team updates throughout the hospital as well as the community.  The effective use of multi-media technology will demonstrate the impact of one innovative teaching tool that integrates family members as teachers and allows participants to experience both intellectually and emotionally the journey toward end of life for pediatric patient and family.
