2. Validate blessing as a fulcrum for intimacy, resolution of difference, reconciliation and/or building of legacy.
3. Apply the giving and receiving dynamics of blessing from diverse religious, cultural and age-related resources.
“The key to blessing things is to receive their blessing.” (Barbara Brown Taylor). Blessing is about giving and receiving, humility, mercy and the soul’s capacity for continued growth.  Beginning with childhood, explore diverse expression of blessing in presence, word, music, movement and ritual. Presenting a resource base from diverse sources and traditions, this session will explore blessing as a change agent for life, for death and for the face of bereavement.
