Grief, end-of-life issues and decisions..they are the same in any and every language and in every culture.  Wrong!  The Hispanic culture, like any other cultures defines each of these issues unto themselves.  This workshop describes effective strategies for helping caregivers provide the utmost assistance to those whom they serve in the Hispanic community.  Additionally, this session will discuss how Hispanic culture sometimes shuns and is untrusting of medical care and even hospice.  Via case studies and examples, participants will be given applicable tools to understand how to build relationships with the Hispanic population.
