Utilizing the NHPCO's Guidelines for Bereavement Care in Hospice, this presentation will equip the novice bereavement professional with the tools and resources to build a sound bereavement program. These tools will include an awareness of bereavement standards, assessment instruments, care planning basics, program evaluation and quality improvement.
