1. Identify death rituals from diverse cultures including Bosnian, Chinese, Somali Bantu, Vietnamese and Indian
2. Develop strategies to engage caregivers in patient diversity
3. Develop a program to engage your community in cultural diversity education
Do your caregivers understand the unique cultural differences represented in our global community? Help them be better prepared to manage cultural considerations and get your community involved. This session will explore death rituals from the global community while identifying opportunities to engage caregivers. Faculty also will identify ways to involve your local community in educational opportunities for your collaborative environment.
