2. Describe innovative ways to broaden the scope of bereavement services without incurring significant additional costs
3. Utilize the interdisciplinary team approach from hospice care for delivery of bereavement care
This presentation will provide a model for hospice programs that integrates Reiki, a holistic spiritual healing practice, into the plan of care for bereavement clients. It includes guidelines for volunteer Reiki practitioner training, staff education, referrals, documentation, volunteer supervision and quality assurance survey implementation.
