2. Describe data collection strategies that will support fulfillment of quality reporting requirements
3. Create an action plan for future quality reporting for your hospice
Starting in 2013, hospices must report on quality measures determined by CMS or incur a 2% reduction in their market basket update. This session will review information on the tasks hospices must accomplish to prepare for and fulfill quality reporting requirements, including all aspects of implementation of mandatory performance measures. The session will then provide an overview of the latest information about the current status of development of hospice quality measures and what lies ahead for quality reporting.
