Addiction in end-of-life care can be a challenge to identify and manage while simultaneously ensuring on-going comfort care for the patient and support for the family. This presentation will provide assessment and intervention strategies, along with a field-tested protocol to assist the hospice’s interdisciplinary team in achieving this delicate balance.
