A common practice in most organizations today, including hospice and palliative care organizations, is to develop value statements to govern organizational beliefs and practices. What happens when these prescribed values conflict or compete with individual hospice professionals values or have a different meaning. This presentation will address this issue based on the presenter’s research and describe will an evidence-based plan for organizations to maximize value statements.
