2. Discuss how the Maxims of Hospice and Palliative Medicine can be used to teach the conceptual framework of Hospice and Palliative Medicine to learners
3. Reflect on the applicability of the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Maxims to modeling positive relationships within organizations
Preparing learners to develop sound relational attitudes and skills in Hospice and Palliative Medicine can be extremely challenging, as it requires a much different approach than many other fields.  The Maxims of Hospice and Palliative Medicine is a teaching tool that helps create a heuristic to guide learners as they navigate the complex interactions inherent in Hospice and Palliative Medicine practice. Come experience how this tool can provide important language and concrete manifestations of the philosophy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
