2. Learn the key components of successful women’s giving initiatives
3. Take home easy-to-implement strategies to build a women’s giving program
Donor-base segmentation has evolved into a fundraising best practice. As recently as the last decade, a growing focus places attention on women’s philanthropy. As 85% of healthcare decisions are women-driven, hospices are ideally positioned to grow support from this significant segment. This session will provide key strategies to create and sustain a women's giving initiative, explore the psychology behind women’s giving, discuss pertinent research and the challenges of “selling” the concept to a mostly male board and, through two case studies, will highlight the amazing impact a women’s giving program can have on overall advancement efforts.
