The results of reviews by CMS and oversight agencies show concerns with the utilization of General Inpatient (GIP) level of care. Managers need to understand the rules and regulations applicable to the provision and coordination of GIP care to ensure staff is in compliance.  Hospices must address the complexities of this level of care to achieve the best outcomes in patient care and reimbursement. The presenters will discuss strategies for managing the provision of GIP care in all settings.
