Shaping the culture of Philanthropy within a nonprofit organization is at the core of fundraising. An effective development plan and communications strategy is necessary to carry out a nonprofit's mission and connect to its various audiences. Understanding the importance of integrating a development communications strategy with the overall communications plan for the organization, this session will focus on elements of an effective communications plan and integrative approaches to development communications, using both traditional and non-traditional techniques and analyzing best practicies within the hospice and palliative care industry.
