QAPI stands for Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement, but might also stand for "Quit Assuming and Prove It"!  This session will examine quality measures and evidenced-based outcomes for hospice volunteer programs. Attendees will learn how volunteer services can collaborate with the IDG on successful clinical practices. Take home tools will include quality measures and outcome reporting that can easily be implemented in your program. Learn about collaborative performance improvement projects involving the clinical team and volunteer services that can be replicated. Topics will include volunteer turnover, volunteer satisfaction, patient and family satisfaction of volunteer services, reporting Medicare match and non-Med match volunteer hours and benchmarking volunteer service to patients. Return home ready to stop assuming and start proving the value and success of your volunteer program.
