2. Formulate differential diagnoses for delirium
3. Manage delirium and its symptoms taking into account goals of care and context
Delirium is common and highly distressing to patients, caregivers, families and staff within hospice and palliative care settings. This interactive workshop will review what delirium is, how to detect it, its underlying causes, the differential diagnoses, basic work up and interventions to manage it.
