Music in the Care Setting: Helpful Hints for Team Use

1. Identify at least one common end-of-life problem that may be helped with music
2. Name one factor to consider when choosing music for a patient
3. Describe a situation in which it may be appropriate to use a music volunteer.
This session will increase your awareness of the benefits of music to provide comfort and support to patients and families.  Learn problem based strategies and helpful hints for using music by clinical team members who are not music credentialed. In addition, faculty will highlitht facts about music therapy and other music care specialties.
