CANCELLED --To Cease or Not to Cease, That is the Question --CANCELLED

Appropriate medication therapy includes ceasing unnecessary medications.  Patients taking medications that are no longer necessary are at increased risk of untoward side effects and drug interactions; however multiple barriers to discontinuing medications exist including patient and professional biases.  In addition to these issues, faculty will discuss safe weaning and discontinuation of some medications which may lead to improved quality of care.
