In this session, participants will consider spiritual care in hospice and palliative care focusing on five key documents: Common Standards for Professional Chaplaincy, Report of the Consensus Conference for Improving the Quality of Spiritual Care in Palliative Care, APC Standards of Practice for Chaplains in Acute Care, NHPCO Guidelines for Spiritual Care in Hospice and a Literature Review--Testing the Efficacy of Chaplaincy Care.
