This session will enable participants to increase their understanding and skills in working with family members who present challenges and provide strategies to support mutual goals of care.  In addition, faculty will offer techniques from a strength based perspective while encouraging participants to share case examples.

Learning Objectives:
1. Define a challenging family
2. Name two consequences of unsuccessful interactions with a family that is challenging
3. Identify two interventions to increase success in working with these families
