This is a topic everyone thinks about, but few are comfortable talking about. It is the responsibility of practitioners in holistic practice to address all areas of patient care; including intimacy. This session aims to increase participants' understanding of the importance of intimacy at end of life. Participants will become more comfortable approaching this topic with patients and their loved ones through exploring expanded definitions of intimacy, reviewing current research and identifying ways to approach this topic with others.

2. Define types of intimacy and understand how to educate others
3. Utilize information to have conversations with patients and their loved ones
