One in four people who dies in the US is a Veteran. Yet this population remains invisible to many caregivers, as invisible as the soul wounds our Veterans can carry as a result of their military experiences. Using excerpts from the documentary film, Go in Peace!, this session will examine how to create safe physical and emotional space for Veterans with PTSD, Post Terror Soul Distress, and the hospice professional's role in their healing.

Learning Objectives:
1. Define PTSD (renamed Post Terror Soul Distress in the film) from a holistic standpoint
2. Identify what could constitute safe physical and emotional space for Veterans
3. Identify the role of caregivers in facilitating opportunities for healing for Veterans with wounds to the soul
