This session will provide a basic primer for non-financial managers who are in positions that require them to understand, interpret, manage and or report on financial matters. Participants will be challenged to focus on results each day, week and month, and they will learn how these results relate to financial performance and future opportunities. They will understand the relationship between the budget and services to patients and families and learn strategies to include their teams in budgeting and financial planning. Participants with little to no financial skills will leave with new understandings, appreciation and, best of all, tools to use in their organizations.
