In the face of increasing competition, many hospice organizations are focusing more time and energy on the “business” side than ever before. Positive word-of-mouth and occasional visits to referral sources used to be enough for hospice organizations to maintain a steady stream of patients. Now successful hospice professionals must possess both a compassionate heart and a marketer’s savvy. This session will demonstrate the critical components in building business by establishing and strengthening mutually beneficial relationships with physicians and other referral sources.
