Hospice leaders are in the unique position to impact patient care outcomes in the complex, dynamic, medical, legal and regulatory continuum.  Current literature suggests that patient care outcomes are related to the culture of an organization, and the impact of leadership and culture on organizational performance is well documented. This presentation provides an innovative approach to hospice leadership, based on the integration of both nursing and organizational leadership concepts. Participants will be able to adapt this approach to their current leadership style to create and maintain their own culture of excellence
