2. Discuss the concept of stress resiliency as the capacity to withstand negative effects of stress in the workplace
3. Describe coherence as a technique of self regulation
Stress is part and parcel of our day-to-day lives.  However in a work environment, exposure to ongoing stress, especially as it relates to end-of-life care, can diminish productivity, impact staff morale and affect safe patient care.  This session will briefly describe the effects of stress on all aspects of our daily lives and will provide specific examples of stress resiliency methods and how to implement them in the work culture of your hospice.
