3. Identify key issues and opportunities for providing palliative care in conjunction with a hospice program
The past several years have seen a significant increase in interest about, demand for and development of palliative care programs. Yet, palliative care remains somewhat of an enigma because it does not have clear-cut guidelines in terms of setting, reimbursement, regulations/ CoPs, stage in the disease process, or delivery models.  If your hospice is currently operating or considering a palliative care program, this session will help you understand the complexities and opportunities. Benefit from the experience of other providers as they have experimented in this relatively uncharted territory.
