On-going Training and Support (OTaS) is a process for facilitating support groups and meetings for your staff and/or volunteers. Learn a transferable process that can be utilized in your agency to promote self-awareness, self-care, emotional and spiritual support, and problem solving. This dynamic model develops transferrable skills and is easily adaptable to your agency’s needs and concerns. Help support your staff and volunteers in continuing to do the quality work they do best by developing a support program that gives them a voice, acknowledges their experiences, develops networking and allows them to re-charge.
Learning Objectives:
1. Facilitate meetings which identify and prioritize issues and experiences affecting your staff and volunteers in today’s changing environment
2. Describe innovative methods of self-care, education and problem solving amongst your staff and volunteers
3. Identify tools to provide an on-going support program that empowers staff and volunteers to be change agents
