More than 9 million American military personnel served on active duty from 1964-1975 including 2.5 million who either fought in combat, provided close support or were exposed to enemy attack during the Vietnam War. Today, many of these veterans are aging and will need specialized care at the end of life. Participants will learn about the impact of the Vietnam War and how caregivers in hospice and the community can meet the unique needs of Veterans and their families at the end of life.

Learning Objectives:
1. Describe why it is important to improve knowledge and understanding of Vietnam Veterans' history and needs
2. List unique health issues that Vietnam Veterans may face at end of life
