Developing a Major Gifts Program for Your Organization

If you would like to be raising gifts of $5,000, $25,000 or more for your organization, but don’t know where to begin, this session will provide an overview of how even small organizations can start to develop a major gifts program.  Come and learn what defines a major gift and what you need to get started.  Faculty will discuss how to identify major gift prospects to support your hospice mission, and how to build donor relationships that can lead to significant gifts. Tools and tips for planning a successful donor visit including how to make an ask will be provided, as well as proven techniques to thank your donors to keep them engaged!

2. Identify five current donors to begin to steward as major gift prospects
3. Build donor relationships through cultivation and stewardship
