Hospice organizations receive an impressive number of memorial gifts. While memorials are a wonderful donor acquisition vehicle, hospice fundraising cannot end there. The challenge lies in converting memorials into a second contribution. In this session, faculty will explore when and how you might enlist the grateful caregiver or family as an advocate, volunteer or solicitor. This session will also give you a path to transforming memorial donors to lifelong supporters.

Learning Objectives:
1. Identify how soon to solicit memorial gift donors
2. Discuss when and how you might enlist the grateful caregiver or family as an advocate, volunteer or solicitor
3. Develop a plan of attack to "convert" memorial gifts to annual or major donors
