This session will explore the difficult topic of unplanned hospitalizations. Faculty will discuss strategies to best prevent them, and when they do happen (and they will), how to effectively manage them. In addition, this session will consider the correlation between measures in the HQRP HIS preferences, CAHPS and hospitalizations.

3. Identify monitoring techniques and strategies to manage unplanned hospitalizations
