The hospice cost report has been required since 2000. In 2009. CMS asked for recommendations on changes to the cost report.  NHPCO's Cost Report Workgroup prepared a narrative of recommended changes and in 2010 prepared a sample set of Excel spreadsheets that incorporated those recommendations. Join members of the NHPCO Cost Report Workgroup to learn about the recommendation and about using the cost report as a management tool now and in the future.
