Primary Presenter:
Judith Skretny, M.A.
Learning Objectives:
1. Define proactive and intentional change management
2. Identify four distinct strategies for managing change
3. Apply each of the four strategies to a specific "hospice" related situation of change
Sucessful change management requires that we maintain organizational stability in the midst of transition. Many leaders and managers rely on their instincts when managing change, but successful change management must be "intentional" and must involve a blending of strategies and a great degree of flexibility. In this session, faculty will discuss four distinct strategies for managing change and will provide examples from "real" hospice settings.
