Co-Presenter:
Janet Bull, MD
Area of Emphasis: Executive Leadership
Learning Objectives:
1. Describe the changing role of the CEO and CMO
2. Fill their leadership toolbox with practical tools to move the CEO/CMO relationship to a synergistic level
3. Discuss the importance of engagement and open debate around the future model of care
Two critical positions that influence the success of any end-of-life care organization are the CEO and the CMO.  Using a Good to Great analogy, these two seats on the bus are important seats and if the leaders in those seats don’t work well together, even synergistically, the success of the entire organization can hang in the balance.  This session will offer practical principles and tactics to create a fertile environment for that partnership to grow and flourish thereby positively impacting the entire organization.
