HIPAA privacy and security regulations continue to evolve and enforcement of compliance has increased.  This session details the current status of the HIPAA regulations including the most recent updates brought about by the HITECH Act.  Strategies for auditing compliance with HIPAA privacy and security requirements are presented with an emphasis on what has changed since the original compliance deadlines in 2003 (privacy) and 2005 (security).
