Faculty:

This session will focus on the role and impact of senior executives on charitable giving in today’s non-profit hospice organizations. Knowing that senior executives may have limited amounts of time to devote to fundraising, faculty will talk about the activities that provide the best return on investment of the senior executive’s time. Specific examples will be shared on building donor relationships, why hospice organizations are now asking for “big” gifts, and concluding with an interactive discussion to help participants have a better understanding of the role each of us may have in making “the ask”.
Learning Objectives:
1. Describe the role of fundraising staff and the role and expectations of the governing board
2. Define what senior executives should expect in fundraising expenses and financial return
3. Define the best role for senior executives in securing major gifts
