Learning Objectives:
1. Determine the maturity and readiness of a hospice program for a capital campaign
2. Assess if a compelling, persuasive case can be made for a hospice capital campaign
3. Identify individual, corporate, governmental and other funding sources to help a hospice achieve campaign success
In the current economic climate, fundraising to build, buy and/or remodel hospice facilities in urban, suburban and rural areas presents distinct challenges. Participants will learn unique and engaging strategies developed and employed for brick and mortar hospice capital campaigns ranging from urban northern Kentucky counties to Kentucky’s rural counties, including Appalachia.
