This session will outline the steps to building a project plan that prepares a hospice to implement ICD-10 in 2013. Consistent with proven best practices in project management, faculty will outline the key steps and stumbling blocks to creating a comprehensive project plan and critical tasks list. In addition, faculty will demonstrate how this project planning model has been applied within Hospice of Santa Cruz County to build a collaborative work plan across clinical and operations teams.
